Brentwood Daily Activities encourages residents to participate in a variety of activities specifically designed to give a feeling of success and to maintain their social, perceptual, and physical skills, in turn providing a fun, understanding, loving & caring atmosphere. The Activities Department offers a wide variety of activities during the days for everyone, such as:
- Bowling
- Cookouts
- Religious Services attending to all denominations
- Birthday Parties
- Computer & Internet access
- One-to-one Room Visits
- Manicures
- Student visits from local schools
- Reminiscing
- An Assortment of Touch screen video Games
- Exercise class
- Movie Showcase
- Live Entertainment – Every Friday afternoon
- Resident Council – Where residents can voice their opinions confidentially
And weekend & evening activities like:
- Bingo
- Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy
- Group discussions about the going on’s of the day, or whether you just prefer to sit back on the patio during the Spring or Summer, watching the boats come in & go out of the Narragansett Bay , or in the gazebo during the Fall months, enjoying the peaceful serene view.
- Pizza Parties
There are also the memorable special events & theme parties throughout the year:

- Cinco Di Mayo Celebration
- 4th of July Summer Party
- The Annual Outdoor Luau
- Family & Friends Christmas Party

Valiant Volunteers The Activities Department is grateful for the assistance offered by our many volunteers who offer their time, interest, and expertise in a great variety of fields. Volunteers do everything from calling Bingo, organizing card games, passing snacks at gatherings, to helping with supervision for day trips. Our Residents and staff do appreciate the sincerity and commitment we see in all our wonderful volunteers. If you find you have some spare time please do not hesitate to contact our Activity Director. Being involved is a great way to spend quality time with your loved one.
Individuals with required school, religious, or community service hours, as well as retirees, etc., are always welcome to volunteer at our facility. Contact the Activity Director for further information.
